Storyline: Sara is a visually impaired sculptor who has gone through a traumatic experience. She struggles with the law and her own determination to find a solution.

Sara is a blind girl who has been sexually molested by an unknown person. Her family turns to Vijaya mohan, an ex-lawyer who has not practised for many years. Sara's determination and Vijaya mahan's intelligence lead them to seek justice in the Indian legal system.

Review : Neru has the hangover of previous courtroom dramas like Pink, Oru Aprabhashakante Case diary, and Jeethu Joseph's own family-thrill Drishyam. I've always found Jeethu's writing more impressive than the director, because his writing always gives room for the actors to shine. This is the case here, with Anaswara rajan's, Siddique's, and (.. wait.. it's been..) Lalettan's Anaswara who plays the rape victim who's blind gets the meatiest role and does a bang-up job. The presence of Santhi mayadevi in the script this time helps balance things out (unlike the usual male savior trope), but her presence in a major supporting role feels like a wasted opportunity. Vishnu shayantham composes an emotional theme song which is used all over the film.
